In August 2009, No One Is Illegal – with the support of W2, Under the Volcano Festival of Art & Social Change, EMERGENCE Music, Downtown Eastside Power of Women Group, and Boycott Israeli Apartheid Campaign, – hosted emcee and activist Invincible. She screened and discussed her hybrid docu-music-videos “Locusts” and “People Not Places”,  showing the relationship between gentrification and colonization and ways that people are resisting them. She then lead a participatory workshop about local organizing strategies. The event included traditional Coast Salish welcome and presentations by local organizers from Boycott Israeli Apartheid Campaign, DTES Power to Women Group, and No One Is Illegal.
