The Federal Court hearing scheduled for July 2 has been postponed due to the death of a different judge — the judge hearing Jose Figueroa’s case has flown east for the funeral.

We will let you know when the new date is set. When the hearing takes place, we will gather outside the court house again, and show our support for Jose Figueroa, who remains in sanctuary due to an unjust deportation order.

The push for expansion of the TFW Program has largely come from employers’ organizations and business lobbies. Meanwhile permanent pathways to residency have been drastically impacted – from exclusionary refugee laws to cuts to family sponsorships.
