Jose Figueroa was unjustly ordered separated from his family solely because he dedicated his youth to fighting for justice in El Salvador against a murderous regime, responsible for the massacring of 70,000 of its own citizens according to UN stats. He is a model community member and dedicated husband & father who was forced to live in Sanctuary in his parish over 6 months ago so that he can still hug his 3 children, who are all Canadian citizens, born after he and his wife arrived in Canada almost 20 years ago and were granted refugee status.
