VANCOUVER – A Canada Border Services Agency officer, charged over two months with sexual assault, is facing additional charges, RCMP said today. Daniel Greenhalgh, 32, was re-arrested Oct. 11 after an investigation into allegations made against him while he was working at the Douglas border crossing.

Greenhalgh is now facing three charges of sexual assault dating from April 13 to May 26 of this year. The alleged victims are between the ages of 19 and 30, police said in a news release.

He has been released and is scheduled to appear in Surrey Provincial Court Oct. 29 to set a trial date.

In August, Greenhalgh was charged with sexual assault after an 18-year-old American woman complained she was inappropriately strip-searched in a public washroom near the Douglas border crossing customs building earlier this year.
