TORONTO-Canadian Doctors for Refugee Care is grateful that the Government has backed down on cuts to health coverage for one refugee group: Government Assisted Refugees. Doctors expect the same coverage for all other refugee groups.

Doctors and health care workers across the country today said a slight reversal in cuts to the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) — only for refugees the government itself sponsored — is “too little and too late.”
Deaths are listed if they can be put down to “Fortress Europe”
(border militarisation, asylum laws, accommodation, detention policy, deportations, carrier sanctions…)
